The death has occurred of, Sheila (Julia Mim) Looney (nee Cremin),
Lissyconnor, Rathmore, Co. Kerry on 10th January 2022, in the excellent
care of Willowbrooke Nursing Home, Castleisland. Sheila, beloved wife
and best friend of the late Johnny Looney. Predeceased by her sister
Eileen McCarthy (New York). Deeply regretted by her daughters Breda
Buckley (Delaware), Eileen Buckley (Millstreet), Sheila Looney
(Lissyconnor), Maura Whalen (New York) and Áine Taylor (Delaware), sons
in law Michael Buckley, Dan Buckley, James Whalen and Brian Taylor,
nieces Kathy McCarthy, Kerry Forta and Marie O'Leary. Sadly missed by
her granddaughters Úna and Hannah grandsons John, Stephen and Daniel,
relatives, neighbours and friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Rathmore, on Wednesday, January
12th, from 6pm to 7:30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 13th January, in St
Joseph's Church, Rathmore, at 11.30am followed by burial in the
adjoining cemetery. Sheila's Requiem Mass can be viewed live by clicking
on Rathmore Live Cam on the following link https://www.rathmoreparish.ie.
Sheila's funeral cortege will leave O'Keeffe's Funeral Home Thursday at
11am travelling to St Joseph's Church, Rathmore, for her Requiem Mass.
